Infinitely appealing to those guests seeking relaxation and revitalization, The Royal Beach Tower Pool is the perfect antidote.  Offering a quiet oasis fronting world-famous Waikiki Beach and the sparkling Pacific Ocean, this exclusive poolside enclave is lined by luxurious lounge chairs with plush cushions under the shade of over-sized, deck umbrellas.  Private poolside cabanas are available for hire atop a stunning stone pool deck.  Bask in the sun as beach and pool attendants attend to your every wish, and as the sun sets over the ocean, enjoy a relaxing soak in our tropical jacuzzi.

The pool at The Royal Hawaiian (Royal Beach Tower Pool) is exclusive to Royal Hawaiian guests only.

Beach Activities and Rentals

Available from Waikiki Beach Service, our on-site beach concession, who will provide you with a legendary ocean experience. The Waikiki beachboys at Waikiki Beach Services can offer you everything from surfing lessons, and stand up paddle board classes, to outrigger canoe rides. For guest who prefer to spend their days relaxing and soaking up the warmth of the Hawaiian sun, our private beach area, exclusive to guests only, offers free of charge lounge chairs ans umbrellas for your comfort. Additionally, for those who prefer a front-row seat at the ocean's edge, rental chaise lounges and umbrellas are also available for hire at a discounted rate from the Waikiki Beach Service desk, located at our Royal Pool.

Helumoa Playground and Keiki Pool

A Waikiki beachfront extravaganza beckons both the young and the young at heart. The Helumoa Playground features two fresh water swimming pools, a 15-foot high by 70-foot long water slide, two large whirlpool spas with sweeping views of Waikiki Beach, an interactive fountain area for kids, fun and creative food and beverage, water chaise lounges, and a pool hut where guests may borrow towels and purchase pool goods including sun products, inflatable floatation devices and toys. Lei making, water slide races, hula lessons, storytelling and stargazing are just some of the activities guests can enjoy at the Helumoa Playground.

The Helumoa Playground is a shared pool area for guests of The Royal Hawaiian and the Sheraton Waikiki. 

Jacuzzi Options

Guest of The Royal Hawaiian may enjoy the tranquil jacuzzi beside the Royal pool, as well as the two Jacuzzis at Helumoa Playground resort pool.

Pool Attendants

Please note that there are no lifeguards on duty at the Royal Pool or the Helumoa Playground. Parents  are advised to keep a close eye on their children. Beach and Pool Ambassadors are available everyday from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Poolside Food and Beverage Services

Poolside Food and Beverage Service is available for your convenience. A large selection, from tropical fruits and smoothies to full meals and cocktails, are available to order from one of our attendants.

Mai Tai Bar

Handcrafted cocktails and lite fare.
Hours of Operation:
Bar is open from 10 am daily until late.
Lunch service is available between 11:00AM and 3:30PM.
Dinner service is available between 3:30PM and 10:00PM.

Surf Lanai

Al fresco breakfast and lunch.
Hours of Operation:
Breakfast service is available between 6:30AM and 11:00AM.
Lunch service is available between 11:30AM and 2:00PM.

Ingredients

Located at the Sheraton Waikiki and convenient for guests enjoying the Helumoa Playground. Grab-and-Go Meals available between 6:30AM and 10:00PM.

NOTE: Beverage service is available at the Royal pool and Helumoa Playground decks; however, alcohol is NOT permitted on Waikiki Beach.
